This moist, light, local favorite fish gets a makeover with a rich decadent sauce. This Valentine’s day, treat your honey to this quick easy recipe for dinner. Start with 2 pounds of California Halibut rinsed and patted dry. This is for a family of four. You can start with a store bought Alfredo sauce, or if you’d like to make your own Alfredo sauce there are many recipes available on the web. This recipe will look like you spent all day in the kitchen!
- 2 lbs California Halibut
- 1 6 oz pkg Alfredo Sauce
- 1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 c. garlic bread crumbs
- 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped flat leaf parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350. Rinse and pat dry halibut and salt and pepper to taste. Top halibut with Alfredo sauce. Next, top it with shredded Parmesan cheese. Finally, top your fish with the bread crumbs. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Finish your halibut in the broiler to brown bread crumbs. This should really only take a few moments. Top with chopped flat leaf parsley and enjoy.
